Terms of service
Last updated 31 October 2026
1. About these terms
These terms are between you and Godfred Antwi, a sole trader trading as Koinelo ("we"), 124 Carlton Avenue, Feltham, TW14 0EH, United Kingdom. By creating an account you agree to them. If you create a church on Koinelo, you also agree on the church's behalf and confirm you may do so. How we handle personal information is in our privacy policy.
2. Accounts
- Give a real name and an email you can receive.
- Keep your password safe; tell us at hello@koinelo.co.uk if you think someone else has used your account.
- Accounts are for people aged 13 and over.
3. Churches and their responsibilities
The church (its owners and admins) decides who joins, what is shared, whether meetings are recorded, how long prayer requests and recordings are kept, and who moderates. The church is responsible for:
- having the right to use the songs, lyrics, slides, pictures and Bible translations it puts on screens or streams (for example a CCLI licence for song lyrics). The built-in Berean Standard Bible and World English Bible are free to use;
- telling people before recording, and getting consent where needed (Koinelo shows a recording notice to everyone);
- its own data-protection duties for its members' information (we process it on the church's behalf).
4. Acceptable use
Don't use Koinelo to break the law, harass or harm anyone, share content you don't have the rights to, send spam, or try to get round its security or limits. Moderators can hold, hide or mute; we may suspend churches or accounts that break these rules, telling you why where we can.
5. Early access, plans and payments
- Koinelo is in early access: it is free. Each new church gets a free trial of Church Premium (currently 60 days) and then the Free plan.
- Paid plans (Connect Pro, Church Plus, Church Premium, Enterprise) are not on sale yet. Before they start we'll update these terms and tell church owners; nothing is charged unless a church owner chooses a paid plan.
- Each plan has fair-use limits (people per meeting, meeting length, meeting hours per month). During early access, video meetings across the whole service also have a monthly limit; if it's reached, video pauses until the next month while projection, the studio and screens keep working.
- Moving to a smaller plan never deletes anything.
6. Your content
You (or your church) own what you put in Koinelo. You give us permission to store, show and send it only as needed to run the service for you. When a church or account is deleted, its content is deleted.
7. Availability and changes
We work to keep Koinelo running, but during early access especially we can't promise it will never be interrupted (for example during maintenance or a provider's outage). Features may change; we'll tell church owners in advance about changes that matter.
8. Liability
Nothing in these terms limits liability that can't be limited by law (for example for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or fraud). Otherwise, while Koinelo is free, our total liability to you or your church in any 12 months is limited to £100, and we aren't liable for indirect losses.
9. Ending
You can delete your account (Your account → Delete my account) or your church (Settings → Delete this church) at any time. We may end or suspend an account for serious or repeated breaches of these terms.
10. Law
These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales, and its courts have jurisdiction (consumers keep their rights to use their local courts). Questions: hello@koinelo.co.uk.
